Globe to stop “Load to GCash” service by February 20

Telecom giant Globe announced it will be terminating the “Load to GCash” service by February 20, 2016.

Globe Load to GCash will be discontinued

“Please be informed that the Load to GCash service will no longer be available by February 20, 2017.  You can still cash-in to your GCash account via our GCash Partner Outlets nationwide,” said Globe in its advisory posted on the official GCash Facebook page.

GCash is a service for Globe & TM customers which allows subscribers to  send and receive money to and from another Globe/TM mobile phone anytime & anywhere.  The “Load to GCash” allows users to convert their Globe Prepaid or TM load to GCash at a 10% charge.  Converted loads can also be used to shop online, play games, make donations, buy apps from iTunes Store, and more.

No reason for the termination has been given.
