Hundreds of medical students and graduates took the first part of March 2017 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) last March 5 and 6. The second examination will be held on March 12 and 13, in different testing centers nationwide.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release the March 2017 PLE result on March 16, Thursday, which is usually 3 days after the last day of examination.
The coverage of the examination included: basic medical principles like biochemistry, anatomy, histology, physiology, pathology, parasitology and microbiology; four major clinical subjects like pediatrics and nutrition, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery; legal medicine and medical jurisprudence; and preventive medicine and public health.
The passing rate for the March 2017 PLE is 75% but an examinee must not get less than 65% rating in any one of the subject.

The successful roll of examinees or list of passers, top 10 examinees, top performing school and school performances of the March 2017 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) will be revealed.
