DOLE to conduct nationwide job and business fairs on June 12, 2017 Independence Day

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will conduct job and business fairs nationwide on June 12, 2017 in commemoration of the 119th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day.

Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III said that around 123,000 local, overseas and government jobs will be offered to jobseekers from a total of 680 participating employers in the 21 Trabaho, Negospo, Kabuhayan (TNK) job and business fairs which will be held in 14 regions throught the country.

Applicants should bring the following application requirements:

  • resume or curriculum vitae (bring extra copies for multiple job applications);
  • 2 x 2 ID pictures;
  • certificate of employment for those formerly employed;
  • diploma and/or transcript of records; and authenticated birth certificate.

The Independence Day job and business fairs replicate the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) initiative of the DOLE and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which aims to bring employment opportunities and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.

The 2017 Independence Day is observed with the theme, “Kalayaan 2017: Pagbabagong Sama-Samang Balikatin.”
