The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) are hosting a joint job fair called “Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Job Fair”.
More than 25,000 job opportunities await thousands of Filipino jobseekers, especially the returning overseas Filipino workers who wish to stay in the country for good.
A total of 88 employers will participate in the job fair to be held at River Banks Mall in Marikina City this March 3-4, 2017.
Labor secretary Silvestre Bello III said that aside from the thousands of job vacancies offered, “a lot of livelihood opportunities for our returning OFWs to provide them viable job options in their hometown also await participants.”
The joint job fair aims to provide more job opportunities for the Filipino jobseekers, particularly the fresh graduates, the unemployed, displaced workers and the returning OFWs.
Most of the local job vacancies are in the industry of information and technology, which is considered as highest paying job in the country. Other jobs to be offered in the said event are hotel and restaurant/tourism, health and wellness, wholesale and retail trade industries, construction, automotive, and engineering, among others.
Jobseekers may pre-register with PhilJobNet to avoid delays during the job fair.
