LIST: DOLE schedules nationwide job fairs on May 1, 2017 (Labor Day)

2018 araw ng kalayaan job fairs
Around 125,000 vacancies are available during the 2018 Araw ng Kalayaan Job Fairs on June 12.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is conducting nationwide job fairs on May 1, 2017, to celebrate the first Labor Day under the administration of President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

The labor department aims to bring job and business fairs in various areas in the 17 regions throughout the country.  More than 50 job and business fairs are anticipated to cater thousands of jobseekers.

The Labor Day job and business fairs replicate the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) initiative of the DOLE and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which aims to bring employment opportunities and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.

This year’s Labor Day theme is “Matatag na Kabuhayan at Trabaho tungo sa Progresibong Pagbabago.”
