545 Technical Service Officers needed in the Philippine National Police (PNP)


The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced that a total of 545 vacancies for technical service officers are available, who will be commissioned into the PNP Officer Corps under the PNP Lateral Entry Program.

Under Resolution No. 2-17-229 dated May 31, 2017, the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) granted authority to the PNP to fill-up 545 vacancies for Police Commissioned Officers with the rank of Police Senior Inspector and Police Inspector in the technical services.

These vacancies include 100 for Lawyers, 48 for Medical Doctors and 34 Chaplains who will be commissioned to the initial rank of Police Senior Inspector with a monthly basic salary of Php 35,312.00 with allowances and other cash and non-cash benefits.

The Lateral Entry quota is also reserved for 85 Registered Nurses, 50 Psychologists, 54 Dentists, 50 Forensic Chemist/Chemical Engineers, 50 Criminologists, 18 Electronics and Communications Engineers, 40 Information Technology specialists, 11 Civil Engineers, three (3) Electrical Engineers and two (2) Architects.

They will be appointed to the initial rank of Police Inspector with a starting basic monthly salary of Php 32,341.00 plus allowances and other fringe benefits.

The PNP Officer Corps comprise approximately 8% of the total PNP strength.
