Kris Aquino, has set foot once again inside the ABS-CBN building after almost 2 years of leaving the Kapamilya network.
The Queen of All Media was an exclusive contract star of the Kapamilya network for over 20 years before decided to leave the network, purported to be due to grave threats to her and her sons where she has to go abroad to for her whole family’s safety and for health reasons. In a recent interview with People Asia Magazine, Aquino said admitted that it was her fault that her contract ended with her long time network.
“With ABS-CBN, I think it was my fault because when the contract was there, I should have signed it. It was a two-year deal guarantee and I didn’t sign it then. I didn’t sign at that point because that whole threat was real,” Kris said.
After her departure from ABS-CBN and a year-long hiatus, she hosted her first show in GMA called “Trip Ni Kris”. However, the show was immediately cancelled because of Aquino’s reported rift with its producer.
After her failed comeback show, she tried creating content for the digital world and created her own show. However, it was also short-lived.
Due to failures in her few attempts to create her new shows, fans concluded that her career was better with her former network.
But after almost 2 years, she was spotted again inside the ABS-CBN building. Is she back is she back being a Kapamilya? It was not certain if she will be back as a contract star of the network.
