Manila – Thirty thousand (30,000) jobs await jobseekers at the June 2018 DOLE Job Fairs dubbed as Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) jobs and business fair on June 12 at the Senior Citizens’ Garden in Rizal Park, Manila.
The said venue is one of the 19 TNK job and business fair sites nationwide to commemorate the 120th anniversary Philippine Independence.
A total of 73 employers will participate in said job fair. According to labor with them 29,751 local, overseas, and government jobs.
For local employment, the most number of vacancies are in the fields of construction, transportation, and sales. These vacancies include CIP installers, welders, masons/finishing masons, carpenters, lead man, scaffolders, painter, steelman, tinsmith, and tile-setter. Jobseekers may also try for the positions of drivers, mechanics, and bus conductors in the field of transportation; and customer service consultants, pharmacy assistants, financial consultants, merchandisers, and cashiers in the field of sales and service.
The top vacancies for overseas employment include service/hotel workers, general labor/technician, forecourt (petrol filler), butcher (supermarket), hospital workers, nurses, engineers, labor workers, sales personnel, and carpenters.
Government posts are also available for those who want to work in public office. These include positions of Architect, Planning Assistant, Lawyears, Project Evaluation Officer, Draftsman, Stenographic Reporter, Engineer, Stenographer, Planning Officer, and Traffic Constable at the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA); Fire Officer I at the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP); and Administrative, Technical, Supervisory, and Division Chief level positions at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
There are also vacancies for Officer and Enlisted Personnel, Civilian Employee, Naval Officer Candidate Course, Basic Seaman Course, and Marine Basic Course at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP); Supervising History Researcher, Supervising Science Research Specialist, Science Research Technician, Museum Researchers, Museum Technicians, History Researchers, Historic Sites Development Officers, Architects, Engineers, Shrine Curators, Museum Guides, Administrative Aide, and Administrative Assistant at the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP); and Technical Staff, Senior Programmer, Planning Officer, Project Development Officer, Supervising Accounts Specialist, Community Development Officers, and Project Evaluation Officer at the Social Housing Finance Corp.
There will be pre-employment services from the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
