#WalangPasok: Class and Work suspension on June 11, 2018 (Monday)

The northern part of the Philippines continue to experience heavy rains and consequent flooding brought about by Tropical Storm (TS) Domeng and Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Select local government units (LGUs) announced early class suspension for June 11, Monday as the TS Domeng intensifies as it exits the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and an enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Hanging Habagat).

Classes are suspended in the following areas:

  • Quezon City – all levels, private and public. Meanwhile, work suspension in private and public depends on administrators.
  • Caloocan City – all levels, private and public
  • Malabon City – all levels, private and public
  • Manila – all levels, private and public
  • Muntinlupa City – all levels, private and public
  • Taguig City – preschool to high school, private and public
  • Las Piñas City – all levels, private and public
  • Navotas City – all levels, private and public
  • Mandaluyong City – all levels, private and public
  • Parañaque City – all levels, private and public
  • Pateros – all levels, private and public
  • Valenzuela City – all levels, private and public
  • Marikina City – all levels, private and public
  • Pasay City – daycare to high school, private and public
  • San Juan City – all levels, private and public
  • Pasig City – all levels, pricate and public

Other Cities and Municipalities

  • Olongapo City – all levels, private and public
  • Mariveles, Bataan – all levels, private and public
  • Bacoor, Cavite – preschool to elementary, private and public
  • Lian, Batangas – all levels, private and public
  • Subic, Zambales – all levels, private and public
  • Nasugbu, Batangas – all levels, private and public
  • Obando, Bulacan – all levels, private and public
  • Meycauayan, Bulacan – all levels, private and public

Provinces

  • Abra – kinder to high school K-12, public and private
  • Rizal – preschool to elementary level, public and private
  • Bataan – all levels, private and public
  • Batangas – all levels, private and public
  • Cavite – all levels, private and public

Work suspensions are announced in the following areas:

  • Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila – office operations are suspended. For those scheduled to take the exam, please call the Admission Office for new exam schedule. For those scheduled for enrollment, please wait for updates.
  • Adamson University – offices will be closed. The schedule university entrance exam will be rescheduled on June 13, Wednesday.
