Davao Occidental – A magnitude 5.4 earthquake hits Davao Occidental on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at around 10:29 in the morning.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the epicenter of the earthquake is located at 05.99°N, 125.77°E – 021 km N 56° East of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.

The temblor, which is of tectonic origin, has a depth of 122 kilometer. The state seismologists say that damages are not expected following the quake, however, aftershocks may be recorded.
