DPWH to hold Build Build Build job caravan, more than 11k vacancies up for grabs

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to hold Build Build Build Job Fair 2018.

Secretary Mark Villar invites Filipino job hunters to join at the Build Build Build job fair slated on August 12 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. The job fair starts at 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.

Numerous job opportunities await Filipino who’ll join in ushering of the so called Philippines Golden Age of Infrastructure.  More than 11,000 jobs are up for grabs ranging from positions for skilled workers to engineering professionals.  The top vacancies available are laborer, mason, steelman, and carpenter, among others.

The Build Build Build job caravan is a joint project of Department of Transportation (DOTr), DPWH, Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

“Build, Build, Build” is the Duterte administration’s infrastructure development program.  The government has allocated P8.4-trillion for completion and enhancement of infrastructure projects.  The “Build, Build, Build” program is among the reforms to achieve one of President Rodrigo Duterte’s socioeconomic agenda which is reduction of poverty incidence from today’s 21.6 percent to 14 percent by 2022 or before his term ends.
