Living up to its tag as home for best Asian dramas, the Kapuso network will offer another “first” under its GMA Heart of Asia programming block. The network has recently aired the first Thailand lakorn (drama) You’re my Destiny, which has received positive feedback from the viewers.
Channel 7 will air Wings of Love (Turkish title: Bana Sevmeyi Anlat) on Monday, July 2, as part of the network’s 15th anniversary offer. Wings of Love is a the first Turkish drama to land on Philippine television.
The new drama series revolves around the story of a Leyla (played by Seda Bakan), a single mother who struggles to give her child a decent life. She was forced by her father to marry a rich, but old, businessman named Hasmet (portrayed by Mustafa Üstündağ), who owns a chain of restaurants.
However, during her wedding day, Leyla found out her husband-to-be’s secret. She heard Hasmet’s plan to kill someone and found out that he is actually a member of a drug syndicate. Fearing for hers and her child’s life, Leyla escaped from her wedding and accidentally rides on Albert’s (played by Kadir Doğulu) car. Albert, who works as a chef in one of Hasmet’s restaurant, will help her escape from her fiance’s wrath, until they fall for each other.
Wings of Love will be aired on weekday mornings after Wolfbloods on GMA Channel 7.
