(Update, July 5) BPI postpones the implementation of the new transaction fees for deposits and withdrawals to January 2019.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) announces its new and updated fees for respective bank transactions and services.

In an advisory issued on Monday, July 2, the Ayala-owned bank will start charging over-the-counter withdrawals and inter-regional deposits effective September 1, 2018. Before this announcement, clients enjoy these transactions free of charge.

BPI internal system error caused “lost money”, unauthorized transactions

Inter-region deposits are now charged P50.00. Over-the-counter withdrawals are charged P100.00 per transaction for accounts with ATM, while it remains free for accounts with passbook except for inter-regional deposits, which is charged P100.00 per transaction.

Below are the updated BPI new charges on deposits and withdrawals:
