Manila, Philippines – The Center for Education Measurement, Inc.(CEM) announces that the online application for the October 2018 National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) starts on July 30, Monday.
Registration date will be from July 30, 2018 to September 14, 2018. The examination will be held on October 21, 2018 in seven (7) testing centers nationwide and on October 20, 2018 in one testing center in the United States.
Application is open to all graduates and graduating students (at the time of the exam) of any baccalaureate degree course. Those who are second year students who are currently enrolled in the UP College of Medicine Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine (INTARMED) program are also eligible to apply.
The exam is composed of 4 subtests – verbal, inductive reasoning, quantitative, and perceptual acuity. Review centers are usually available for those who want to prepare for the examination.
The National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) is a standardized test designed to upgrade the selection of applicants seeking admission to any of the Philippine medical schools administered by the Center of Education Management, Inc. (CEM).
The test results are usually released after twenty (20) CEM business days from the test dates via an electronic copy.
