Manila, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will start issuing ID card for Civil Service Exam (CSE) passers this year, according to a report by ABS-CBN.
CSC Chairperson Alilcia Dela Rosa-Bala announced the guidelines on how to obtain the “eligibility card,” which will certify that an individual passed the CSE.
The CSC eligibility card scheduled for roll out this year looks like an ATM card, an upgrade from the former paper certification issued by the agency.
How to get your eligibility card?
CSE passers can may present the following requirements to get your eligibility card:
- Valid ID
- Certification of eligibility
- Receipt for the application fee
College graduates with honors and board passers are also eligible to apply for the ID card after complying with the requirements.
Applicants must present the above documentary requirements to the nearest CSC office to get their eligibility card.
Besides being a requirement for government employment, CSC eligibility cards are also used by private companies to exempt applicants from taking assessment exams.
“May ibang companies na ginagamit nila ‘yan. Nag-aadminister din kasi sila ng mga test sa mga applicants nila. Nalaman nila na iyong Civil Service ginagamit ito at binibigyan namin sila ng ID,” said Bala.
(Other companies use the eligibility card. They also administer an exam for their applicants. They knew that the Civil Service use it (ID card) and we are giving it to them.)
