Cebu, Philippines – A graduate from Cebu Doctors’ University emerged as the top notcher of the recent board exam for pharmacists.
Belgian-Filipina Louise Tan Theunis obtained an average rating of 91.55 percent and placed first among the 2,927 out of 4,230 takers who passed the August 2018 Pharmacist Licensure Examination.
The 19-year-old Cebuana is an epitome of beauty and brains. She graduated Magna cum laude at the Cebu Doctors’ University for her BS Pharmacy course.
Apart from her exemplary performance in school, Theunis iss also a beauty queen. In 2016, she was crowned first runner-up in the Ms. Mandaue pageant in Cebu.
Asked what’s her secret, she said that it is through consistency in studying and hard work.
“It’s just consistency, studying everyday and make sure you have your schedule and stick to it. Just really work hard and make an effort, teach yourself and make sure you understand,” Theunis said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
