Manila, Philippines – Classes in some parts of Luzon remain suspended due to flooding and inclement weather.
The following areas announced class suspensions on August 22, Wednesday:
Masantol, Pampanga – classes in all levels, public and private due to existing floodings and high tide.
Apalit, Pampanga – The following schools have no classes tomorrow:
- Paligui Elementary School,
- Sampaga Elementary School
- Sampaga High School
- Fausto Gonzales Sioco Memorial Elementary School (Colgante)
Meanwhile, Mayor Atty Majul Gandamra of Marawi City announced August 22 as a local special non-working holiday as part of the celebration of Eid’l Adha or Feast of Sacrifice.
