Manila, Philippines – Classes are suspended anew in some local government units (LGU) particularly in the Cordillera region due to inclement weather.
The following LGUs have announced class suspensions on August 24, 2018, Friday, due to heavy rainfall resulting to flooding:
La Trinidad, Benguet
Mayor Romeo Salda suspends classes in the municipality of La Trinidad on Friday, August 24, 2018, from pre-school to elementary level, in both public and private schools, for the safety and security of students.
Mayor Victorio Palangdan declares class suspension on Friday, August 24, 2018, in all levels, both public and private schools in the municipality of Itogon due to inclement weather.
Mayor Ignacio Rivera suspends classes for pre school to elementary in both private and public schools on Friday, August 24, 2018 in the municipality of Tuba.
Mayor Peter Alos declares class suspension on Friday, August 24, 2018 for pre school only in both private and public schools in Atok, to ensure safety and welfare of our pupils/children.
Province of Abra
By authority of the Gov, Vice Gov Ronald Balao-as declares suspension of classes tomorrow, August 24, 2018 from kinder to K12, public and private schools in the province of Abra.
