Manila, Philippines – The Department of Tourism (DOT) has released an initial list of accredited hotels for Boracay’s reopening on October 26, 2018 following a six-month closure.
As of August 31, 2018, there are twenty-five (25) hotels (a total of 2,063 rooms) that will be allowed to operate and accept booking when Boracay reopens for tourists. The said hotels have complied with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) permits and clearances.

- Fairways and Bluewater Beach Resort

The Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force will be strictly implementing the “No Compliance, No Opening” policy.
The tourism department also advises tourists to check if their hotels are accredited before booking to avoid inconveniences.
