Quezon City, Philippines – Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista on Wednesday, announced citywide class suspension on September 14 and 15, 2018 due to Typhoon Mangkhut or Bagyong Ompong.
Bautista announced that classes in all levels, in both private and public schools in the city, are suspended on the aforementioned dates due to the anticipated onslaught of the typhoon. No suspension of work was announced as of posting time.

Typhoon Mangkhut or Ompong has already entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) at 3 o’clock this afternoon. It further intensifies as it threatens Luzon, including Metro Manila, and parts of Eastern Seaboard including Western Visayas.
