Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine postpones the September 2018 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) due to Typhoon Ompong.
In its official website, PRC said that the second weekend of the PLE, which is scheduled on September 15-16, 2018 in testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao, is POSTPONED due to the anticipated onslaught of typhoon “Ompong.” The first part of the PLE was done last September 8-9, 2018.
The postponement is in consideration of the latest forecast of PAGASA-DOST on typhoon Ompong and its expected impact especially to Baguio where Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 was raised, including expected extensive flooding in Manila.
The PRC shall announced the new schedule soon.
